Child Princess custom costumes are always popular. It always seems to be
the daddy's that
order these for their own princesses. Colors, ruffles, and fluff are every
girl's fantasy dress.
All little girls dream of being princess'. So we must extract that fantasy
from their ideas and
create their dreams. The child Little Bo Peep also has tons of lace and
ruffles. This costume
was required for a chamber fund raiser.
The sexy Gypsy costume was made for a costumers convention. They needed
flash, sexy
and attention from this costume. Multiple colors were necessary with color
blending a must.
Now the fat suit with the fairy costume was just a hilariously funny
costume to make. I
think we laughed ourselves stupid many a day. The fat suit makes you look
about 500
pounds. Add a fluffy fairy costume with a bodice to shove those humongous
boobs up
and over. Add wand and wings.
The Nutcracker and Christmas tree costumes were invented for a Christmas
show. The
Nutcracker head was made soft but sturdy and oversized. It also needed to
be able to stay upon the
shoulders when the actor danced. The body costume was to be normal size
while the head was to be over sized. The Christmas tree also needed to
dance. This was accomplished with the under side
being a hoop. Sewing the different layers on was challenging. Try sewing
under a hoop!
Add decorations, tights, star for the top and a little face paint- Voila!
Custom Toby costume from the
Labyrinth movie. Used for the Labyrinth Masquerade Ball. Created
from the movie. At first we thought it was a one piece. Looking closer, we
discovered it was
two pieces with the front attached. But for an adult to wear it as a baby,
you would need an
adult changing table. We decided that just would not work. So we actually
made it two pieces.
The fairy costume was inspired by Amy Brown. White ruffled dress with a
black over dress.
The black over dress is off the shoulders and the skirt is split to show
off the under dress.
The corset is made from suede and boned to hold shape. It is laced
together in 6 panels.
The wings were sponged dyed autumn along one edge. Coke feathers were also
added.
Randy the Easter Bunny was made from a front animal face mold. It was
attached to
the basic form made from foam. Fur was glued onto the foam structure. Glue
pink nose
onto form, add plastic fabric covered ears and screens for the eyes.
Voila! Now just
make the fur body jumpsuit.
